ASATA - Association Of South African Travel Agents

For ASATA I developed a web application whereby travel agents (consultants) can register on the system to record their skills and courses completed for the current year. The web application awards certain points for certain courses completed. By the end of the year, they need to accumulate a certain number of points to remain active on the system.

The consultant's supervisors can log into their own administration section to validate completion of the courses. Custom reports have been built into the system for the ASATA administrators.

AfricaBe

AfricaBe is a website showcase to offer the world an insight into all that is Africa.

It has a selection of videos, pictures, discussion boards, news articles and advertising banners that are all maintained by a custom content management system developed by myself.

BHCS - Brake Hose & Component Supplies

Brake Hose & Component Supplies is a company specialising in components for brakes and brake hoses. I created a system whereby visitors can register on the website to request access to a selection of PDF brochures. Once the adminstrator approves the registration, they have access to all brochures and pricing for the components.

BARSA - Board of Airline Representatives of South Africa

For BARSA I created a online noticeboard whereby administrators can add documents, notices and other information for and from certain departments. Administrators have full control of the system to add, update, enable or disable certain notices.

VIP Truss

The VIP Truss website has a quote management system I developed. They needed a system to capture quotes online and have workflow embedded into this system too. So when a quote is captured, it can be assigned to a sales person for follow up and processing.

Alerts were added in the system to notify administrators if quotes were open for too long. This alert time frame could be set by the adminsitrator and it can range from 1 hour to a set number of weeks (all depending on how busy they are).

Eye-Q Website Design

Eye-Q is a website design company. Most of the websites I have developed have been for them as they needed their client's websites to have some kind of interaction with their visitors.
