I have been working as a web developer since 2002 and I have been freelancing since 2004. I stumbled into the freelance world more by chance than anything else. I had a request to help a graphic design company I knew with some websites they designed. Their customers wanted database integration for their websites, so I decided to give them a hand part time.

I do website development after hours and on weekends. This is really the only drawback, that I can't do this 24/7. The majority of the time, working part time is actually sufficient for most individuals needs.
